The cooling layout is based on a vertical airflow path, pulling air in from the bottom and exhausting it through the top and rear. Users also have the option to install up to three extra 120mm fans or a 360mm radiator at the top for additional cooling.

The front panel of the Evolv S2 is split into two areas. The power and reset buttons are located on the upper right section of the front panel. The I/O ports are placed on the lower left side of the left front foot, and include one USB-C port (20 Gbps), two USB-A ports (5 Gbps), and a combined audio jack for headset use.
