The radiator measures 399.5 x 120 x 30mm and is constructed with aluminum fins. Its 30mm thickness is slightly greater than the common 27mm radiators, which theoretically enhances heat dissipation as the airflow passes through the unit. The durability and flexibility of the tubing stand out, with nylon braiding over the 365mm pipes ensuring long-lasting protection and performance.

The difference between the PANORAMA ARGB and PRO versions comes down to the fans included. For our testing, we also received a set of five additional ROTA PRO 120mm fans to complete the build. Both the fan packaging and the AIO liquid cooler share a consistent design approach, favoring a minimalist style with clean, understated text arrangements.

Unboxing the ROTA PRO 120 fans offers a more refined experience compared to conventional packaging. Instead of cutting through tape, the process involves peeling away multiple layers to reveal the fan. This approach feels deliberate and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience, while also being easier to handle.

The ROTA PRO 120 fans share a similar appearance with the ARGB variant, featuring the same FDB bearings for smooth operation. The notable difference lies in the blades’ material, which is made from LCP. This material enhances toughness and heat resistance, ensuring the blades maintain their form even under high-speed, extended use. This blend of durability and stability makes the PRO version a practical choice for heavy-duty setups.

Performance is where the ROTA PRO 120 truly shines. The fans are capable of reaching speeds of 2250RPM±10%, delivering a maximum airflow of 81.32 CFM and a peak air pressure of 3.66 mmAq. These figures make it a solid option for users looking to prioritize cooling efficiency and overall performance.

The pump/water block assembly is provided by Asetek, which means the installation kit follows the familiar design seen in many of their other products. It includes a plastic backplate and a set of metal screws and bolts for mounting. This version refines the bracket system by reducing the number of parts and simplifying compatibility. Instead of relying on multiple brackets or reinforced backplates for various setups, the package now comes with two distinct bracket types, one for Intel and another for AMD platforms.

The kit supports both LGA 1700 and LGA 1200 sockets with a slide rail system that allows for easy adjustment. Installation involves screwing in the studs, positioning the backplate on the motherboard, securing the pump head, and finally tightening the LGA 1700 nut. Knurled nuts with grooves are used for AM5 and LGA 115X/1200 sockets, while the smooth ones are designed for AM4 and LGA 1700. The package also includes spacers specifically for Intel sockets and a set of short screws to attach the radiator to the chassis.

TRYX provides a two-gram tube of Alpha-01 thermal grease for efficient heat transfer. Additionally, the package includes a cable meant exclusively for the ARGB model, ensuring compatibility with customizable lighting setups. These thoughtful inclusions round out the kit, making it both practical and user-friendly.

The installation process was straightforward and completed in just 10 minutes using our Intel LGA1700 test system. The manual clearly outlines the steps, including removing the display portion of the head unit to access the knurled nuts to secure it. The top section of the cooler features magnets—one positioned beneath the tube—and a 6-pin pad for communication with the AMOLED display, which is a clever design touch.

After reassembling the AMOLED display and securely attaching the VRM fan to the main unit, the cooler was nearly ready for operation. The installation process for the Panorama 360 was straightforward and took about 15 minutes in total, including connecting all the components. We positioned the cooler along the side panel for optimal thermal performance, installed three 120mm fans at the top to ensure efficient airflow, and mounted a single 120mm fan at the rear to enhance heat dissipation. The layout was designed to maximize cooling efficiency while maintaining a clean and professional build aesthetic.

Once fully assembled, the TRYX PANORAMA delivers an impressive visual impact. Its refined design and high-quality materials create an aesthetically pleasing addition to any setup. The waterblock is designed to be mounted with the tubes facing downward, but the display content can be rotated through the software to fit individual preferences. This flexibility ensures users can customize the system’s appearance without compromising on style or functionality.

The power-on effect of the entire setup ensures an optimal experience for users who typically place their PC chassis on the right side of their workspace. The curved screen of the PANORAMA display naturally aligns with this positioning, offering a perfect viewing angle. However, this arrangement introduces certain considerations when pairing it with ARGB hardware. To avoid such interference, it’s better to limit RGB elements and stick to non-ARGB hardware for the fans. For those still needing extra cooling, the rear and bottom areas are better suited for fan installation.

The TRYX PANORAMA 360 Liquid Cooler comes with KANALI software, designed to align with the brand’s minimalist aesthetic. Featuring a black and fluorescent yellow interface, the layout is clean and user-friendly. When first launched, users are prompted to update firmware and software versions if connected to the internet. The software enables control over the PANORAMA display and ROTA fans via dedicated panels. However, since there is no ARGB version included, no fans are detected. The interface also provides real-time hardware and network performance indicators, adding to its practicality.

TRYX PANORAMA Software

PANORAMA’s latest update introduces support for 11 preloaded naked-eye 3D videos. The software’s smooth carousel-style interface makes switching between videos effortless. These fans are engineered with fiberglass-reinforced liquid crystal polymer (LCP) materials, enabling them to provide up to 105.8 CFM of airflow and 8.14 mm H2O of static pressure. The fans feature an embedded thermal sensor for intelligent speed control, ensuring that the cooler adapts to the system’s cooling needs in real-time.

The THICC FP12 Trio fans also utilize a single-frame design, which ensures consistent airflow across all three fans, resulting in an uninterrupted aesthetic flow. Additionally, the design improves structural rigidity and simplifies connectivity, making installation and setup more straightforward.

The THICC Q80 Trio is equipped with a 5-inch, 720p 60 Hz Ultraslim IPS display mounted above the cold plate, offering users the ability to adjust the screen for the optimal viewing angle. The display is paired with a 42-pixel ARGB array, which provides users with vibrant, saturated color that enhances the visual appeal of their system.

  • Unlimited Screen Personalization: Users can personalize their display to show real-time performance data, integrate living media and music, display a multi-sensor readout, and switch between HD video, GIFs, and images.
  • Advanced Cooling Control: The software allows for intelligent system-wide cooling control, supporting up to 36 daisy-chained fans. Users can also control all their fans through their motherboard’s PWM headers.
  • Immersive RGB Lighting: Nexus 2.0 integrates with OpenRGB SDK, enabling users to synchronize RGB lighting effects across more than 1,800 compatible devices. The THICC Q80 Trio comes with an additional LS10 light strip to provide enhanced ambient RGB lighting.

The THICC Q80 Trio will be available in two colors: Snow White and Pitch Black. The cooler is fully customizable via the HYTE Nexus 2.0 software, offering users a high degree of control over the system’s aesthetics and cooling performance.

The THICC Q80 Trio is available for pre-order now at HYTE.com, priced at $319.99. The cooler is expected to launch in Q1 2025, with shipments beginning soon after. The THICC Q80 Trio will also be showcased at CES 2025 in the HYTE/iBUYPOWER suite, where attendees can see the cooler in action.
